The way you look is - more than just confusing. I see a bit anger too, but it's not obvious if it is your pain, or the pain of the person you are looking at this way. The hairdo seems like its not the way you made it in the morning, you may be stressed or you had been distracted from what you were doing or what you were trying to do. Or you just think about what you are doing or what you wanted to do. The instrument you are holding like its an armrest -you are holding like you are really used to it- could be the reason for your distraction or the origin of the cause of the way you look. The instrument itself seems unimportant, important is the fact that you are having an instrument on your lap, keeping it there, telling everyone who sees you indirectly that it is not of no value for you. The last part of the last sentence was put into negation twice, because the whole image seems like it is in a bad situation but still under control somehow, just like the grammar i used. The intrument tells me that you tried to go for your most important hobby, or maybe the usual sense of your life. Being disturbed doesn't make the instument disappear. It has to be important. Your cloth-style is something special, but still something you can wear outside of that dark chamber of the 4rd floor. The room is dark but there is enough light through the sun to be able to say that it is not in the underground. Your Hair is some kind of glowing from the one side so you must be somewhere where the sunlight never throws shadows through your window during the day. You may just know that i think about this picture like it happens just now. Your hand is near your shoulder, you really lean trough your instrument, through your personal thing, on yourself. You know what you are doing looking like this, but you can't stop it because you dont want to act anymore. You want to look that way because your feeling tells you to do so. To let you know what makes me write things like that, I will tell you a shortened story: I had a teacher who looked like you in this and who looked the way you look here. It was her first year as a teacher. I know the way she looked was some kind of hate, but more of not understanding. She was seeking for a nice lesson with the pupils, but some things failed just every time. She didn't know what to do with us, because she wasn't sure if we hate her, make her suffer for her bad lessons on purpose, or if we just are as stupid as you could call the jokes some pupils made in that time. She had exactly that face, exactly that appearance with adorable clothes, during the lessons. I saw pain in that face, so one time I decided to tell her what the pupils really think, that they want what she wants, a real lesson, but that they're too shy and too childish to even try to think about changing this. She never looked like this again after I talked to her twice. Everything changed to improvement for both sides.
Thats why the first thoughts I thought about this were that I still dont know if I like that way of looking because it makes me think too much, and that the instrument here is being a teacher somewhere else.
I usually don't care about making critiques or even to tell the author what it makes me feel, because talking makes no sense if you don't step in ones door, if you understand what I try to say, but since I wrote this instead of just the first sentence as a comment, you could trust me if i say, that I could look at this image for days, thinking about it combined with every feeling you can have.
Let's go on with the least important thing, the rating. As you can see at the lengh of my critique you can imagine the time I was looking at this picture, this had a real impact fascinating me in just every way it is. The Vision is what makes the Impact, what the viewer is seeing and the impact on him are based on the Vision. To tell something about the Originality again, this is the most interesting picture I ever found on deviantArt - there is no way that it exists with exactly that look and way of looking anywhere else on earth, because you are unique. The Technique is what is used to create Originality. Acting(or feeling) and shooting photos are perfectly done here, since the impact is that vast.
